Once our home study was complete we got to start on
something way more fun but almost just as “stressful” – the adoption
profile. This is the folder that the
agency provides to prospective birth parents to help them to get to know potential adoptive families
better while they are working to choose a forever family for their baby.
The fun part was putting together all this
information about us and our life together…the “stressful” part was putting
together all this information about us and our life together J. Just kidding – the hardest part was trying to
limit the pictures to 5 and the words to around 1,500 – have you ever tried to
put your whole life into a 1,500 work essay – HARD!! But in the end we made it work and I’ve
wanted to include a copy of the finished product but I guess we must have given our last copy to Sophia because I can't find one anywhere....either that or it is buried under this sea of baby stuff!!
